Some People Believe The U.S. President Actually Runs Everything
I was just reading some blogs... including a blog someone here linked to.
All of this hatred toward Trump is so weird. It's like these people actually believe this one person is truly running everything.
Their hatred directed at Trump - in my view - that is the point of having such a figurehead: a highly visible person that frustration and anger (or gratitude and contentment) can be directed at.
Trump is serving his purpose extremely well.
The President is continually receiving information from others around him. He's continually being advised on the best courses of action... "here are your options".
In this way, it sure seems like the President(s), and congress for that matter, is simply being steered to certain decisions.
So the question becomes WHO is doing the steering? 🤔
Is it the immediate circle of advisors? I'm thinking these people are also basing their decisions on information provided to them.
The information would likely, to some degree, be filtered and influenced by each person it passes through.
Things are, and have been, moving in a certain direction for a long time and this remains true regardless of the party holding majority power including the office of President.
Therefore, it seems possible there is someone "above" or "outside" the political theater with an agenda.
If so, the information, options and advice would come from this person or more likely group(s) of people.
This would allow them to continually steer things regardless of who actually holds office.
