So Many People Attacking Success Making Excuses
On Facebook, I've often seen positive posts that have people commenting just to argue. 😒
Now, I understand many of these people do not "get" the posts are intended to help people realize THEY can create positive change in their own life.
Instead, for some bizarre reason, they view it like such posts are dishonest and harmful. 🙄
It basically goes like this...
Someone makes a post about how it's not too late to turn your life around, to make a positive change.
There'll be many positive comments people sharing their personal experiences.
Then here come the doom-n-gloomers spewing negativity and hatred but trying to wrap it up as "facts". 🤥
They will go on and on ranting pulling every statistic they can from their favorite AI to fight against the very concept of personal empowerment. 🤒
It's truly so weird. One or two people arguing with dozens of people who are sharing their experiences of coming from very challenging backgrounds and they created positive change for themselves.
Yet these others argue insisting it's not possible. 😅
Their favorite tactic is marginalizing success, minimizing and ultimately even dismissing the importance of another person's sacrifices, hard work and persistence and instead calling it "luck".
It's mind boggling that a person can truly believe that BUT it's why their life experience is very different from those other commenters. 😵💫
Attitude matters! Beliefs are the difference maker.
The attackers will talk about how these motivational posts and people who agree with them represent the 1 out of 1,000 cases... the survivor bias... and ignores the other 999 people who worked just as hard and failed. 🤕
It's so simple, but these people - due to their focus on attacking - completely miss the obvious. 😅
It's not that anyone is IGNORING things... it's that it all goes together. It's ALL the same thing.
The people who accomplish things ALSO have setbacks! 🤯
The difference is they persisted. Continually learned. Improved over time.
They. Never. Stopped. 🙂
And many of those other "999" people are in that same process right now.
