There Was One Heck Of a Celebration Last Night
Last night there was a heck of a celebration over here (the community) in Southeast Asia.
Despite people not actually supposed to be shooting off fireworks, there were so many people doing it (some all night) that I was even a little surprised. 😅
It's one of the things I find so awesome over here.
It's refreshing to live in a country that truly has a huge amount of personal liberty in the day-to-day life choices and activities.
Most people in the USA talk about the "big things" but it is actually all of these dozens and hundreds of little things that make up our daily lives that matter the most... because really these things ARE life.
The "secret" is simple and is something I realized in the past decade.
We are only ever as free as the people around us want us to be.
That's the difference between back there and over here.
In the USA, there would have been people calling the cops on their neighbors (some eagerly call them on their own family).
Over here... nope.
Anyway... there were still occasional POP, BANG and BOOMs happening even this morning at 6 AM. 😅
Overall, I would say 2026 is starting out fantastic!
I am already starting to think about my next micro, or maybe even tiny, game project.
I think I will use some of those free graphics just as an experiment to see what I can do with them.
