Not Much To Say... Life Outside Is Fantastic, I Probably Won't Return To The USA

It's been 7 weeks since my last blog post here.

I check the Recent BearBlog posts 2 to 3 times per week and read any that seem interesting.

A lot of the blogs here and, one would assume, the people behind them have very different views than I do so I think that probably played a part in me looking elsewhere for content and participation.

Still, there are many people who are expressing beliefs & interests that resonate with me and I appreciate reading those.

I've actually been posting daily on my FB page again and enjoy it. Like I said before, my FB "feed" for the most part shows me posts and suggestions for things I am actually interested in.

I am sure that is because I do not react or otherwise engage with content that I am not interested in and certainly not with content that is opposite of my beliefs.

I've also been participating a lot on YT videos in the comments on videos that I enjoy. Mostly that is to support the creator or to share my own related experiences.

Sometimes, over the past several weeks, I've been doing some trolling of the trolls... those people who only post to criticize the content or the person making the videos.

Often that turns into having a discussion with one of the AIs and is obvious they are simply copy & pasting as fast as they can prompt the AI with my response and copy and paste the comment back to YT.

But that's okay... because in the end, I figure it's still taking their time that would otherwise likely be spent on being an a-hole to other people and instead producing a "discussion" that just might be beneficial to others.

Anyway... life is fantastic. Everything just keeps getting better and better.

Life has always been that way. That doesn't mean there haven't been bad times, hard times in my life. Of course, there have! And plenty of them over a lifetime. That's just life. Nothing to cry about or obsess over.

Our life is always going where we are looking. And our experience is always the things we spend the most time thinking about with the strongest thoughts (and emotions).

My life was very busy very tiring especially in the 7 to 8 years before I left the USA. Life was very busy in the first 6 months after I landed overseas to start my new life.

Now, I have lived over here in Southeast Asia for a bit over 9 months.

I've bought some workout equipment and for the past 2 months I'm working out again!

I finally bought a tv that stays off until the weekend and then my girlfriend (and sometimes family) & I watch a movie or a couple episodes of a series on the weekend nights.

I will give it another year to decide, but as of right now it's looking like I will likely just take one final trip back to the USA next year, visit a few people, get rid of the house entirely and take one more big step out of the USA American life. 😃

I honestly can't see what benefit there would be for me to move back to the USA.

The choice is basically..

Live here (or another country) with the same, or even higher, quality of life, with less rules & regulations = more personal liberty & freedom, at a lower cost.

OR

Move back to the USA to live the same, or slightly lower, quality of life, with more rules & regulations = less personal liberty & freedom, at a higher cost.

I'm just not seeing the reason the USA is a better choice. Maybe something will change over the next year.

Time will tell. 😊
