The Need To Tell Others What To Think And What To Do
Have you ever noticed the number of experts online? 🤥
If you ever check Facebook or YouTube comments you will surely find many people who have all of the answers and are graciously spending their time telling everyone else they are wrong and the right way to think. 🤔
I've realized this is probably one of the biggest reasons I became disillusioned with these Internet spaces.
I simply got tired of people telling others what to think and what to do.
Offline, people are generally more humble or at least not so desperate in their need to try to dominate others or to "instruct" everyone "correcting" their "wrong think".
Actually, in the USA, I think it's becoming more common offline. Just not to the level of the online world.
Even here at Bear I've noticed this.
The number of posts of people basically trying to "instruct" everyone in how to think, what to think, and how to do things is high.
We even see people doing response blogs to "correct" the views others have expressed in their own personal blogs.
Seeing these same things here in the Bear microcosm I've found interesting, although certainly not surprising.
We have so many "correcters" and "instructors" and seem to even have at least one clique / gang.
I don't know if there is any point to this post... other than it's just something that's been in the back of my mind for a long time. 😁
