Everyone Writing Their Own Posts / Blogs Is The Best Online Experience
Over the past decade, I've increasingly appreciated websites that presented only what their creator wanted to share. 😊
Meaning no comments from visitors.
In the early days of Web 2.0, comments were largely from like-minded people showing their appreciation for the writing, expressing their shared interests and views, and so forth.
Over time, more and more overly opinionated argumentative a-holes showed up.
In recent years, I realized what I disliked the most about Facebook are the social aspects. 😅
When I read someone else's writing(s) they are freely sharing online, I will agree with it, be indifferent to it, or not agree with it.
There is no need for me to try to "correct" or otherwise argue with a person about THEIR views. I have MINE. THEY have THEIRS.
In fact, there's no need for me to crap MY opinions all over THEIR post at all. 🤔
And THAT is the view I currently hold. Not everything we write needs to be challenged and argued against.
When I post online, it's MY post sharing MY thoughts. MY post is NOT the place for other people to share THEIR thoughts arguing with my views. 🤯
It "tarnishes" a post when other people crap their negative comments on it.
If someone wants to share THEIR opposite opinions they can simply make THEIR own post.
Some will disagree with the view described here.
That's fine - they can write their own posts sharing their different views. 😃
