A Busy Christmas Eve Day and Progress on the Game Tonight
It's Christmas Eve night as I am writing this.
We went to town today. Stores were still packed.
Came home and eventually was able to focus on the Christmas game this evening.
It has some degree of playability now.
The "game" is just very basic, of course. 🫣
And it's definitely not finished.
Especially, when I was thinking just a day ago about having some kind of decent micro story / backdrop going on and right now there is nothing. 😅
I went ahead and made an html build and uploaded it to Itch.io on a password-protected page.
As I mentioned a few days ago, I just made this new itch.io account.
I did this to gain more privacy. I used to use my name all over the Internet. No more for the past many years.
I've always had a much greater awareness of the threats that come with lack of privacy, and a much greater focus on securing privacy, than any other person I know.
On a side note: I've noticed this is something a lot of us here at bearblog seem to have in common. A greater awareness and a willingness to "do without" convenience and so forth to gain a little more privacy.
Anyway, it's been another great day all-around with a little progress on multiple things.
And now it is time for me to get ready to sleep.
Tomorrow is THE day.
